![]() 27 in Gilbert, Arizona, near the Heritage Marketplace on the southeast corner of Gilbert Road and Vaughn Avenue. ![]() The latest Whiskey Row location will open on Feb. The vibe is really unique and special, and it’s awesome to see so many people enjoying themselves at Whiskey Row.” “The Riot group and I have spent a lot of time making sure each Whiskey Row is our version of the perfect place to listen to music, watch a game or grab some great food and drinks. “When we opened our first Whiskey Row three years ago, I never would have guessed we’d be three bars in, in three years,” said Bentley. Amidst all of his musical successes, Bentley is making a name for himself as a restaurateur, having just announced another location for his Whiskey Row restaurant. On top of performing at last night’s College Football National Championship game between Alabama and Clemson, the superstar is busy preparing for his 2017 What The Hell World Tour. This place gets a, "I wouldn't suggest it as an option, but if I was with others who wanted to go in, I wouldn't grumble".Dierks Bentley is one busy guy. ![]() I always ask myself the same question when I leave a place, "would I eat here again?". However If you came here for Whiskey, drastically lower your expectations, or go somewhere else. So in summary, a great place, good food and reasonable service. ![]() The atmosphere in the Bar was friendly and I could see this being a locals haunt. There was enough to feel like you had eaten, but not so much you'd need a stair-lift to get back into your car afterwards. What also surprised me was the portion size, it was normal (Ok what everyone outside of America would class as normal), in that your plate did not require it's own post code. The food was cooked and presented excellently and tasted great, my wife had the Steak salad and I would highly recommend it. What was provided restored my faith in American cuisine. We ordered salads, for something on the lighter side. That said the sound when my wife and I ate here, was at a good level which meant we could still talk to one another without the need to rise our voices. It's a classic sports bar with TVs assaulting your view at every angle. If you are here for dinner, or a few drinks with your mates, then this place is actually ok, its a large open space and has lots of walls that disappear allowing the warm Arizona air in. Right moan about the whiskeys or lack there of over. The only plus I can say about the drink I was offered was the portion, It was on the larger size, not enough to make me suspect it had been shot from a Bar Coke gun, but more than I expected to arrive. Ok large intake of breath, and order whatever they have that isn't an alternative jet-ski fuel. ![]() So I took the pragmatic view to switch to something Americans can distil, Bourbon, only to find not all the Bourbons advertised are actually available. However after perusing the drinks menu it came quickly apparent the only whiskey's the Master of Whiskeys has ever consumed must have been while attending summer break parties or perhaps the extensive range on offer in super 8 mini bars. As a whiskey drinker I was encouraged to see a bar dedicated to the liquor of the Gods. Mill ave is a great part of Tempe, there are many restaurants on offer in the area, this Bar is one of them, so simply driving to the street and walking about you'll soon find something that takes your fancy. ![]()
